The Velveteen Father (Jesse Green)

matticus's picture

Jesse Green never thought he'd have children. This is the true story of how Jesse met Andy, and how this meeting resulted in him becoming an accidental co-adoptive father of two delightful little boys. The story obviously touches on the less conventional challenges associated with two gay guys raising children. Just as much though, it touches on a range of other concepts that we can all relate to - what it means to be gay, how you find yourself in the world, and even how the world sees you beyond a same-genital preference. There's something for everyone - even if you have no interest in kids yourself, you're bound to relate to the themes portrayed. Of course - if you do want kids, you'll probably only be drawn into it even more.
